First of all, you need to create a project in the project settings module. (Sorry about the redundancy!)

Step 1 Project Settings

When you create a new  project, you have the instant ability to save sets of keywords, web-site and analysis data, all on a single theme.

This allows you to see all of your project research in a single workspace, save your project, as well as allowing you to load existing projects so that you can resume your work at a later stage.

Keyword

In this module, you set the primary keyword that you intend to start your research project with. All other keywords in this project should be related to this keyword.

Title

A description of the project.

File: The location where your project file will be saved.

I like to save them in a separate folder, but you can specify anyplace on your computer that make sense to you.

Step 2 Keyword Module

Once you have successfully set up your project, you can begin researching your market using the other modules.

The Keyword Module is the master tab for all the subsequent modules. When you enter a new keyword for your project (including the initial keyword) Market Samurai displays “Find Content” module. Content sources include these categories:

Articles:

Ezine Articles

Article City

Go-Articles

Wikipedia

Constant Content

Blogs:

Google Blog Search

Technorati

Pictures / Videos:

YouTube Videos

Flickr Images

News / Misc:

Scribd Documents

Google News

Yahoo News

I’ll bet you can see the advantage of these content sources, eh? You’ll be pulling content from highly ranked sources that are tightly relevant to the keyword(s) you have chosen for your project.

There are check boxes next to each content source. You just select the source you want by checking the box next to it (eZine Articles for example), click on the find content button, and instantly, you have several articles relevant for your keyword for your review.

And that’s not all, there is actually an RSS button on the screen, and when you press the RSS button, Market Samurai displays a list of the RSS feed urls for the content you selected.

So if you use a feed aggregator on any of your webpages, you have an instant RSS source at hand.

Ok, to proceed, you then click the analyze button on the screen and each one of the content items you selected are listed with an “analyze” buttonto the right.

You click on the second analyze button, and you are presented with all sorts of useful information regarding the articles, blog posting, or google images you have selected.
